Returning to scored tree question?

I was on a cast a while back and had this come up and haven’t really figured out how it should be handled. Pull the dogs off a tree walk a ways and recut. Dog strikes for 100 and eventually ends up back on the previously scored tree. The cast agreed the dog was on same tree and lets handler go l handle his dog. The handler gets close to the dog and it shuts up and takes off. What happened to the dogs strike points?

Tree points are deleted only if the dog was handled on the previously scored tree.

If the dog was declared treed there and left, previously scored or not, the dogs tree points are minused.

If the dog was not declared treed but left before it could be handled, it rocks on with its strike points pending.
